St Peter's C of E Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment

"An outstanding school which gives pupils an excellent start to their education", this is how St. Peter’s was described in our latest ‘Ofsted’ inspection.

At our school every child is made to feel special because we are committed to meeting their individual needs.
Our pupils make excellent progress academically and our aim is for them to develop as well rounded individuals who are happy, confident and excited by what our school can offer them.

Our School Ethos

Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at Parish and Diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to pupils.

Our School Values

Our Values are incorporated into a three year rolling programme so staff, children, governors and parents can identify with them in their everyday lives and practices. Our aim is for these Christian values to ‘run through every area of school life as the writing runs through a stick of rock’
